Last night we did not receive a referral. Our China Coordinator said CCAA only added Special Focus children to the list. She was surprised at this since they did the same in January. Special Focus children are ones that are 3 and older and have multiple special needs. We do not want to adopt out of birth order so we are looking for a child that is younger than Cade (2 1/2). We were a little bummed at first however are very excited that we are at this point. We started the adoption at the end of April and it is hard to believe that we will soon know who our child will be!! So, now we will wait for the March list. In the meantime our CC can still look for a child on the list that may have been overlooked and that meet our needs. God is working in our lives and we will just wait as He reveals His perfect plan.
